About the Role
Intersoft is looking for an experienced Senior Elixir Architect to define and evolve the architecture of our next-generation enterprise AI platform.
You’ll lead technical decisions across distributed systems, mentor engineering teams, and ensure our platform remains scalable, secure, resilient and ready for enterprise workloads.
You’ll work closely with engineering, product and AI teams to design systems capable of processing large-scale workflows while maintaining exceptional reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable distributed architectures using Elixir and OTP
- Define engineering standards and architectural best practices
- Lead technical decisions across multiple product teams
- Build resilient, fault-tolerant services
- Review architecture, performance and security
- Mentor senior engineers and developers
- Collaborate with AI, DevOps and Product teams
- Improve observability, monitoring and reliability
- Drive long-term technical strategy
Requirements
- 8+ years software engineering experience
- 5+ years with Elixir
- Deep understanding of OTP
- Experience with Phoenix and LiveView
- Distributed systems experience
- PostgreSQL
- Redis
- Event-driven architecture
- Kubernetes or Docker
- CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication skills
